Totally missed on this. Life has been buy and I've all but quit logging on here. Not great as I like to be able to go back and look at injury stuff... AT has been on and off good. Doing a fair bit of massage, and stretching seems to help. VT100 might be a bear, but hopefully we can make it through. Looking forward to some easy short days to heal this beast up..

Catch Up 6/3

Lots of catching up to do. Achilles not happy. Not super grumpy. Did a decent job at the CBHM. Five seconds off my PR. Totally lost the plot around mile 7. Dropped a 6:15 mile after running 5:40s. Got some Gatorade down the hatch around mile 10 and got a little bit of a stitch mile 11/12. Not sure how mental it was, but definitely scared me off a bit. Should be happy with the race, but... Quads still really sore two days later.

Did some 2000s on the track. Was going to do 6, but only 5. Not sure if I talked myself out because my AT was in pain and my right hammy wasn't good, or if I was being soft. Rather safe than sorry with CBHM coming up. They were pretty fast, but felt good.

JT-SS 2.5 AT Recovery Day 5 5/18

Went to the track again. AT was a bit stiff in the morning. Did 2.5 miles worth of jogging the turns and sprinting the straights. Things felt pretty good. AT was a bit sore, but not extreme. Stretched after warm-up, before cool down and when I got home. Did some form drills. I really need to work on stretching and make it part of my routine - and a slow warm-up.

Easy day trying to rehab the AT a bit. Felt fine on the run. Noticed it for sure, but not painful. Did some light stretching before a cool-down - might have helped. Nice easy 6 miles followed by a 3 mile progression run on the track. Wasn't sure what I could do, just wanted to see how the legs felt and the pace.
