Marton 5/29

Not a whole lot to say. Crappy week of really low miles. Working on the bathroom did me in. Kept the streak alive... AT kind of acting up and causing some discomfort. Going to race CBHM and take it way easy before VT100. Who knows if I'll even do it at this point. Need to stay healthy.

Did some 2000s on the track. Was going to do 6, but only 5. Not sure if I talked myself out because my AT was in pain and my right hammy wasn't good, or if I was being soft. Rather safe than sorry with CBHM coming up. They were pretty fast, but felt good.

Long run up Marton to J-Hill and around a bit. Leg felt pretty good. AT was good all day, a little sore towards the end of the day, but not really painful. Slight pinching now, but higher and to the side. Did some stretching a mile and a half in.

Oxbow Trail AT Recovery Day 7 5/20

JT-SS 2.5 AT Recovery Day 5 5/18

Went to the track again. AT was a bit stiff in the morning. Did 2.5 miles worth of jogging the turns and sprinting the straights. Things felt pretty good. AT was a bit sore, but not extreme. Stretched after warm-up, before cool down and when I got home. Did some form drills. I really need to work on stretching and make it part of my routine - and a slow warm-up.

Easy AT Recovery Day 2 5/15

Easy day trying to rehab the AT a bit. Felt fine on the run. Noticed it for sure, but not painful. Did some light stretching before a cool-down - might have helped. AT not nearly as stiff as has been the following morning. Mileage for the week is shot to hell. Another easy week next week might be in store as well. Need to focus on VT100 and CBHM, not yearly mileage - or streaking...

Nice fast, hard workout. T-pace was a little fast. Aiming for 6:00, averaged 5:55. 400s at the end were quick. AT little stiff at the end.
