Bike Fartlek 1/17

Probably could have/should have gone out for a run today. Weather was nice, tomorrow's supposed to be cold cold. Ankle felt okay today. Little tired/sore towards the end of the day, but nothing too extreme. Decided to do the bike instead. Did a 5x fartlek of 2:00/1:00/0:30 with a 1:00/0:30/0:30 rest. Did two minute warm-up, 3+ cool-down for a total of 33:14. Felt pretty good, but was a tough workout. Really working on the hip/core strength - exercises, planks, etc. Kind of hard to keep my knee straight while my toes are pointing straight. I've figured out that when my knee pitches in, my toes are straight, but if my knee is straight, then my toes angle out... Just gotta keep working.
